Asia is an entire continent rich in historical landmarks dating back as much as two thousand years. When considering unique places to travel, Asia is a sure winner amongst dozens of others. Countries like China, Mongolia, Burma, Laos, and Thailand are rich in natural and manmade beauty, unrivaled except perhaps by the great Aztec cities of Southern America. In these Asian countries you will find temples that date back thousands of years, and were the pinnacles of modern architecture in their times. You will also find waterfalls, mountains, and dense jungles inhabited by species of animals found nowhere else in the world. If you’re more interested in contemporary structures, downtown Beijing is one of the most modern places in the world and boasts some amazing modern marvels of architecture and art.
Asia travel is a great way to spend a vacation, and also an affordable option. Less developed countries like Thailand can cost literally pennies a day to visit.
